we need to fashion a handle

that neither sex will mind

which disencumbers hidden hands

as presently grip 'mankind'

now we need to integrate

women in the name

or remain politically incorrect

and as such accept the blame

for human life in specie

past, present and its advance

we may now refer to the old mankind

with a fresh word...... 'kinstance'
