spam can be annoying
but does the government own the net
commercial interests involve all folk
down to the pension you might get
if someone were to spam me a two man tent
which was easy to erect and delivery was free
and price was on the button I may be quite content
then say to mr tentman no more emails thanks for me
but how'd you like to opt-in to my bi-monthly camping news
tells where the fish are biting...
and which bait that you should use...
americans are quite clear in their spam legislation
they understand that trade is supportive of the nation
but if unsolicited communications now comprise invasion
never whistle at a girl on any whatsoever occasion
we relish free speech unless of course we don't like it
dumb gesticulation takes a head and then we pike it
idiots sending spam has become most extensive
annoying true but just a mo ... tents are not offensive
we can chuck em on the guy ropes no more to canvas tents
until he who does the pitching evades us in suspense
deliver what is promised and not flap in self-defense
an internet solution makes the best conceivable sense
sleasy open slather opportunistic gold rush
but order is evolved quite oblivious to the crush
energy greed and hope are the primal pioneer traits
incredible innovations have those spammers made to date
internet dna space and wars
cut the edge of technologies
will you legislate and cut em out
but still shoot em up with ease
a campaign against marketing
a campaign against sales
against communications
the anti-spam movement fails
the price of freedom may be eternal deletion !
until technologically sound
a solution not legislation
I happen to have found....
but I hear that billionaires are stressed
and life needs a brand new lease
so I think I'll just go camping for now
and let them sell their tents in peace
